Protective Actions Taken
Village-Wide Updates:
With the opening of our visitation policy, along with the increase in the number of COVID-19 cases state wide, John Knox Village has developed two positive cases of COVID-19.
Per the CDC guidelines there are two independent living residents that are in isolation. Also, there are an additional 17 residents that came into close contact with the positive cases that are quarantined.
Contact tracing continues to take place on all affected residents.
Residents under quarantine are required to stay at home for the next 14 days from their date of exposure. We are monitoring these residents for any symptoms.
While quarantining, residents are restricted to only their home and immediate yard. Access to commons areas such as dining, The Scoop and the dog park are prohibited.
As a precaution, if you are not feeling well for any reason, please contact the resident nurse immediately at extension 1407, the gatehouse, or use your pull cord.
With the approaching holiday we urge all resident to use extreme caution.
