An evening with Renaissance flair was held this past November to kick off the holiday season. The resident-produced event was an incredible hit with all who attended.

The Barker Center was transformed into a magical castle complete with coats of arms displayed throughout. The evening began with the introduction of the attendees by the town crier played by Jerry Herod. Once seated in the great hall, the sound of trumpets heralded in the madrigal singers.

In true madrigal dinner style, each course was announced with fanfare and song and included elements of drama and comedy. Residents who performed or assisted in producing the madrigal dinner included Bill Sharp, Carol Marshall, Dave Denny, Donna Tate, Doug Church, Ellie Wells, Faith Carlson, Jerel Autrey, JoAnn Henderson, Karen Sandhoff, Kathy Olson, Kay Horton, Leslie Briggs, Linda Autrey, Liz Murphy, Mark Mizer, Mary Ellen Humphreys, Mary “T” Clark, Molly Gardner, Nancy Denny, Nancy Kinsley, Ray Horton, Rich Lewis, Richard Briggs, Richard Tolpin, Satar Sheth, Sheilah Tolpin and Steve Biedermann.
