On April 24, a sunny Saturday, 56 John Knox Village residents boarded the “big” bus and the “little” bus for a night out. Twenty-one additional residents followed behind in their cars as we headed to our first theater outing since February 2020.
Barb Sternett, our Resident Services Coordinator, made arrangements with The Winter Park Playhouse for an exclusive showing of: RESPECT, A Musical Journey of Women.
We were all so excited to be out together and the musical did not disappoint. After much clapping and a standing ovation, we boarded the buses for the journey home. Everyone was talking about their own favorite song and thinking about the memories the songs brought to mind.

The April outing was followed up by a trip back to The Winter Park Playhouse in June to see Five Course Love. All of us are wondering where we will go next!
