Hurricane Preparations
John Knox Village continues to monitor the path of Hurricane Isaias and is making preparations for the arrival of tropical storm force winds.
Isaias is currently located 20 miles east of Andros Islands, Bahamas and 50 miles south of Nassau, Bahamas. The storm is moving northwest at 12 mph with winds of 85 mph. A Hurricane Warning is in effect for Boca Raton to the Volusia/Flagler County line.
In preparation for the arrival of Hurricane Isaias, we ask that you secure any loose items that are around your residences.
Voluntary relocation of vehicles will occur from 12:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. today near the Sportsplex off of Trafford. Staff will be on site to assist with parking and will drive you back to your home. Please do not arrive before 12:30 p.m.
Additional updates will be provided as we learn more about the storm’s path.
