Hurricane Preparations
Hurricane Isaias is currently located 245 southeast of Nassau, Bahamas and is moving northwest at 16 MPH. A hurricane watch is in effect for Florida residents north of Deerfield Beach to the Volusia-Brevard County line.
John Knox Village continues to monitor the path of the storm and is making preparations for the arrival of tropical storm force winds.
In preparation for the arrival of Hurricane Isaias, voluntary relocation of vehicles will take place on Saturday, August 1. Watch the Portal and Knox TV for information on relocation times.
Additional updates will be provided as we learn more about the storm’s path.
