The residents of John Knox Village have met many challenges during their lifetimes. One of the most pleasant ones occurred several months ago when Dining Room Manager Diem Nguyen asked the wine committee, Miles Hardy, Bob Dunham, Richard Tolpin and myself to create a totally new wine list for the Valencia Landing dining room and lounge. The committee and other residents used its monthly wine tastings as a platform to select wines for a list in the new venue. Each month, residents tasted different varietals and voted. Their choices now appear on the Valencia wine list.
