Our amenity venues

It’s all right here! Just outside the doors of your John Knox Village home, a village of amenities await.

Aptly named, The Centre is at the center of community life. There are limitless opportunities to meet new people through organized events, at mealtimes and simply by living in a social community. Enjoy lifelong learning programs, exercise at our world-class fitness center and pool area, play a game of billiards or socialize with your friends and neighbors at the Treetop Lounge or The Scoop ice cream parlor. The Centre also offers a full complement of resident services, from banking, salon and barber services to shopping and more – everything you need is conveniently located. And when you’ve worked up an appetite, three of our restaurants are in The Centre.

The Valencia Clubhouse is our newest clubhouse. It offers additional dining options, lounges and activities spaces, including a pool, a fitness center, yoga and dance studio, tennis and pickleball courts, and a patio with a firepit.

The Lester R. Barker Activity Center is a multi-purpose activity space that offers a large auditorium and several multi-function spaces that host a variety of resident activities and workshops.

Our outdoor sports center is the perfect place to enjoy the Florida sunshine. Practice your golf game on our expansive putting green or enjoy a few rounds of shuffleboard with friends and neighbors. Afterward, head over to the Tree Top Lounge at The Centre for a round of drinks.

Florida’s idyllic landscape is a centerpiece of our campus. Our resident gardens provide a peaceful environment for residents to enjoy.

Our dog park is a special place for our four-legged residents. It’s perfect for your furry family members to run, play and make new friends in a safe and secure off-leash environment.
