Our flexible dining program features fresh seasonal ingredients, cooked to order, and a menu that changes daily and offers choices to please every palate. Dine with neighbors or host guests at one of our multiple restaurants or call in an order for curbside pickup.
Nutrition and freshness are paramount. Special diets are happily accommodated, and special requests are encouraged. John Knox Village residents have high expectations, and our dining team aims to exceed them.
Chef Ravin’s approach to dining
By the time Chef was 22, he had traveled half the world. He was trained in classical cooking, and his dining venues reflect worldly sophistication without pretense and encompass a wide variety of styles, each with its own menu and ambiance.
Chef loves a challenge! He enjoys collaborating with residents on everything from making your grandma’s Hungarian goulash recipe the special of the day to working with one of the Village’s resident clubs on a special dinner.
Distinctive dining venues
S.H. Cranes
Enjoy a lakeside supper where the menu boasts gourmet entrees from grilled lamb chops and Wagyu beef to lobster tail and fresh-caught pompano.
Valencia Dining Room
Indulge in a meal at our newest venue. Valencia pairs a five-star menu with an atmosphere that’s stylish and refined, but not stuffy. Valencia Dining Room has something for everyone from beef tomahawk chops to pan-seared wild caught salmon.
Bay
Serving comfort food in a bistro setting, Bay’s menu features favorites like meatloaf, roasted chicken, pot pies, soups, salads and more.
Oak Tree Grill
The Oak Tree Grill is always bustling. It’s a quick and casual spot offering breakfast all day, hearty sandwiches and homestyle favorites.
Tree Top Lounge
Hand-crafted cocktails and inventive appetizers are the main offering, served with a side of sizzling conversation.
The Scoop
When a spoonful (or a bowlful) of nostalgia is what you’re craving, The Scoop offers old-timey ice cream treats and sundries.
Chef Ryan and server Glory, did an excellent job for our luncheon in the Tree Top. The food was delicious and plated beautifully.
