The much-anticipated opening of “The Studio” did not disappoint when the grand opening was held in December.
The Studio was collaboratively put together by a committee comprised of both residents and staff. The group diligently worked on completing the room by preparing, cleaning, painting, and even reupholstering chairs!
New tables for upcoming classes and meetings along with lockers complete the space.
The newly-renovated space will host classes such as drawing (pastels, colored pencils, pen, and ink), painting, and fiber arts such as knitting, quilting, weaving, crocheting, and sewing. Other classes are anticipated such as jewelry, mosaics, and more. In addition to classes, there will be plenty of space for residents to work on their individual projects at any time.
