Skilled nursing is for individuals with medical needs requiring the skill of round-the-clock licensed nurses and therapists. Appropriate for people recovering from illness, injury, surgery or stroke who need intensive therapy and care to gain optimal well-being and health.
It is the policy of the facility to comply with state and federal law as to visitation and access to residents. Additionally, the facility will comply with Agency for Health Care Administration and the State of Florida Division of Emergency Management orders to allow for visitation while following existing Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations to minimize the spread of COVID-19 and other transmissible diseases.

Potential candidates for long-term nursing care include those dealing with an ongoing health condition or disability, chronic or severe pain, a chronic medical condition, permanent disability, dementia, or those who need help with activities of daily living.
John Knox Village is Medicare-certified. With a qualifying hospital stay, Medicare typically covers days 1-20 of the stay. A Medicare-set daily coinsurance rate will be assessed for days 21-100.
